Ludwig von Mises Institute – Europe gold standard conference

"The Gold Standard is the right answer to realise a stable financial market."

This is the proposition that participants will be debating at a one-day conference organised by the Ludwig von Mises Institute Europe on March 7 in Brussels. This institute was officially established in 2002 as a think tank dedicated to advancing the classical liberalism espoused by the great Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises.

Speakers at this event will include the GoldMoney Foundation's James Turk and Alasdair Macleod; Detlev Schlichter, author of Paper Money Collapse (2011); Brian Carney, editor of The Wall Street Journal Europe's editorial page; Christophe Buffin de Chosal, BA Dean at United Business Institutes and Professor in Economics and History; and Maciej Bitner from the Polish Ludwig von Mises Institute (who are co-organisers of this conference).

This event will be held at the Club de la Fondation Universitaire in Brussels on March 7, from 2.30-5.30pm. Those wishing to attend must RSVP before February 28 by completing this registration form.
