Registered gold, platinum & palladium bars

400 ounce gold bars

When you hold goldgrams® with GoldMoney, there is always a one-to-one ratio of goldgrams to physical grams of gold held in allocated storage; although your ownership of goldgrams is not directly related to a specific bar of gold. If you hold approximately 400 ounces (12,441 goldgrams) or more of gold, our Registered 400 Ounce Gold Bar facility enables you to register ownership of one or more of the gold bars stored in our vaults.

When you log into your Holding and select "Bar Delivery & Registration > Registered Bars", you can choose the bars you would like registered in your name. These bars are then associated with a unique Registration ID created by you and displayed publicly on the GoldMoney gold bar list.

The fee for registering a 400 ounce gold bar is only 1 goldgram (about $57.01). There is no fee when you de-register a bar, and there are no additional storage fees during the time you hold a registered bar.

Once a bar is registered in your name, you may arrange to take delivery of it at any time. Whether you transfer it to another vault, choose to store it at your home or with a financial institution, GoldMoney can arrange delivery of the bar to a location of your choice.

Platinum and palladium bars

GoldMoney also offers the facility to register platinum and palladium bars in its Hong Kong vault. The fee for registering a platinum bar is only 1 platinum gram. The fee for registering a palladium bar is only 1 palladium gram.
