GoldMoney is a profitable, privately owned company without any debt. Its financial position is sound, its books are regularly audited by a Big Four accounting firm, and its shareholders are focused on ensuring the long-term safety and security of its customers’ assets. GoldMoney is backed by strong investors, including IAMGOLD (one of the 10 largest Canadian gold mining companies) and Eric Sprott, Founder & Chairman of Sprott Asset Management. Other notable shareholders include Doug Casey, Chairman of Casey Research, and David Tice, Founder of the Prudent Bear Fund. The Turk family also own shares in the company.

GoldMoney's main office is located in Jersey, in the British Channel Islands. Jersey is a British crown dependency situated in the English Channel near the north-western tip of France. Our website and database servers, also located in Jersey, are housed in a secure, state-of-the-art data centre.
GoldMoney is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC). The JFSC is the main supervisory body that oversees and regulates Jersey's financial services industry.
Jersey enjoys an international reputation as an important financial centre with a well-developed financial infrastructure, a legal system based mainly on English common law, and a stable political environment. Jersey's data privacy laws also meet a high standard, and GoldMoney operates within the framework of the data privacy regulations applicable in Jersey.

GoldMoney is the registered business name of Net Transactions Limited, which provides metal storage and metal payments services for its customers. GoldMoney's affiliate company is called Net-Gold Services Limited, which acts as the broker in the purchase and sale of precious metals. Net-Systems Software Limited is the entity that owns the technology property rights of the GoldMoney Group. Lastly, GoldMoney Network Limited is the holding company for the group and owns the patents covering digital currency and payments. GoldMoney Network Limited is based on the Isle of Man. Separate from the group is the GoldMoney Foundation, an independent not-for-profit educational organisation established in 2010 by GoldMoney Network Limited. The aim of the Foundation is to support educational initiatives that promote the principles of sound money.
