Small gold & silver bars now available

We are pleased to offer the following new services and benefits. You can now:
  • Register 100 gram and 1 kilogram (1,000 grams) gold bars and 1 kilogram silver bars in your name with GoldMoney, for storage at VIA MAT Switzerland
  • Register silver Good Delivery bars and store at all silver storage facilities
  • Inspect and/or collect small bars at VIA MAT Switzerland in person, or arrange delivery to your home
  • Benefit from reduced metal-to-metal and vault-to-vault exchange fees

100 gram & 1 kilo gold bars – 1 kilo silver bars


Since we are constantly striving to offer you new means to diversify and preserve your wealth, we have expanded our services so that you can now register 100 gram and 1 kilo gold bars as well as 1 kilo silver bars in your name with GoldMoney, and store at VIA MAT Switzerland. The bars are newly fabricated by LBMA-approved refiners such as Argor-Heraeus and Metalor, and once registered you can inspect and collect them at the vault – or arrange delivery to your residential address.

Bar Registration: How it works


The registration fees, which include production costs and service charges, can be found in the table below.

Storage fees for the small bars will be the same as for undivided metal held at VIA MAT Switzerland. Our storage fees, which were reduced as of 1 April 2013, are the most competitive among comparable businesses.


Silver Good Delivery bar registration


In response to customer demand, we have expanded registration options for Good Delivery bars to include silver. This complements the existing registration options for gold, platinum and palladium.

*Registration fees are subject to change depending on market conditions and supplier pricing for obtaining the bars. Fee for de-registration are zero but are also subject to change depending on market conditions.


Delivery, collection & inspection


Want to collect your 1 kilo silver bar from the Swiss vault? Or to inspect your gold Good Delivery bar in Hong Kong? Simply send us a message from your Holding confirming the serial number of your registered bar and we will make arrangements with the vault operator on your behalf. Inspection and collection charges depend on the number of bars and the vault where the bars are stored. Delivery charges depend on the location and will be confirmed individually (cost example: delivery of 5 x 100 gram gold bars to the US will cost approx. US$200.00). Exchange fee reductions


In order to provide you with more diversification options and to reduce the cost of transferring metal to VIA MAT Switzerland to register small bars, we are cutting our metal-to-metal and vault-to-vault exchange fees.
