Good Delivery Gold, Silver, Platinum & Palladium
GoldMoney customers can register ownership of large Good Delivery bars. Good Delivery criteria were established by the
London Bullion Market Association (for gold and silver) and the
London Platinum & Palladium Market Association. Each Good Delivery bar is marked with the following stamps:
- Fineness
- Year of production
- Serial number
- Assay stamp of refiner
- Weight in grams, kilograms or troy ounces (in the case of platinum and palladium bars)
We conduct ultrasound scans of all Good Delivery gold bars we acquire on customers' behalf in order to ensure your metal is of the highest quality. Click on the following link to learn more about our
GoldMoney Standard of testing.
Registration
It is easy to register ownership of Good Delivery bars. Follow the instructions in
this tutorial to learn how. You will need to hold a sufficient amount of undivided metal in your Holding in order to register bar(s).
Once registered you will be able to inspect, collect and take delivery of your metal.
Registration fees are
1 goldgram for gold bars,
1 silver ounce for silver bars,
1 platinum gram for platinum bars and
1 palladium gram for palladium bars – but are subject to change depending on market conditions and supplier pricing for obtaining the bars. The fees for de-registration are zero but are also subject to change depending on the market.
