What is Postident and who can use it?

Postident offers a convenient way to verify your identity and can be carried out at any Deutsche Post AG post office in Germany.

The procedure was introduced to assist in identifying customers in compliance with anti-money laundering legislation when opening an account with a bank or any other financial services company.

GoldMoney customers resident in Germany can use Postident as an alternative to certifying documents for a Full Holding. Postident is free of charge. The required coupons for this service are included in the Postident Application form.
