GoldMoney's Customer Acceptance Policy (CAP) and Application Forms



Quick, Online Sign-Up Process for Residents of 'Fast-Tracked' Countries

Customers resident in the 44 'fast-tracked' countries listed below can get started quickly with a Basic Holding and then later advance to a Full Holding as more funds are transferred in for metal purchases.

Customers resident in other countries will need to open a Full Holding and mail in our CAP form with supporting documents (see How To Complete the CAP for a Full Holding below). GoldMoney provides its services to customers in 105 countries.

To get started with a Basic Holding, just click the Free Sign Up button at the top-right of any page on our website and follow the simple online sign-up process. Your Holding will be opened in just 10-15 minutes and you can begin transferring money to our bank account.

What is the Customer Acceptance Policy?

GoldMoney's Customer Acceptance Policy (CAP) enables GoldMoney to comply with anti-money laundering legislation, which requires GoldMoney to know the identity and residential address of each of its customers.

Acceptable Certifiers

You will need to certify some of your documentation, as explained in Section 1 of the CAP for Individuals form. See the list of acceptable certifiers.

How to Complete the CAP for a Full Holding

Customers not resident in one of the 'fast-tracked' countries listed above, or all customers who wish to transfer in more than US$150,000 or the equivalent amount of funds to buy metal must sign-up for a Full Holding and complete the CAP for Individuals Form. Please follow the instructions on the right for CAP for a Full Holding.

CAP for a Full Holding

Canadian, USA & UK Residents can complete the CAP for a Full Holding entirely online using an identity verification service provided by Equifax. This option will be presented to you after you complete Step 1 below.

Step 1: Open a Full Holding and Enter Personal Information

Click the Free Sign Up button at the top of the page to get started creating your GoldMoney Holding and enter the information requested.

Step 2: Download and Complete CAP Form

Please download and print out the CAP for Individuals form below (provided in Letter and A4 page sizes).

Step 3: Mail Completed Form and Documents

Once you have completed the CAP form, mail it along with the requested documents to our office. We will contact you after receiving your form to confirm that you have been accepted as a customer and can begin using your GoldMoney Holding.
