Terms & Conditions of the GoldMoney Affiliate Programme

1. You will be eligible to receive a commission (Affiliate Commission) on precious metals purchases by any customers that you have referred to GoldMoney. You understand that no commissions are paid when referred customers sell metal back to GoldMoney, nor on the amount of metal stored with GoldMoney.
2. The basis for calculating commissions is 25% of GoldMoney's net sales margin. You acknowledge that GoldMoney may at its discretion use a different calculation for individual Affiliates.
3. You understand that Affiliate Commissions will be paid to your Holding in the same metal as the purchase made by the referred customer. For example, if the referred customer buys gold then the Affiliate Commission will be paid to your Holding in goldgrams.
4. You will receive affiliate fees for any purchases by the customer you referred for a period of two years from the date they signed up for their Holding.
5. GoldMoney has a strict no spam policy. You agree that if you promote GoldMoney via email, you accept responsibility for ensuring that your mailing lists are up-to-date, 'opt-in' only and fully compliant with your local data protection legislation. If the emails you send with your Affiliate Code are identified as spam, then GoldMoney reserves the right to withhold payment of all Affiliate Commissions to you and to terminate your Holding.
6. When a potential new customer clicks on your GoldMoney Affiliate Code hyperlink, a tracking code ('affiliate cookie') with an expiry period of 30 days will be stored in his/her computer's web browser. If he/she returns to the GoldMoney website and opens a Holding within this 30 day period, then the affiliate cookie will link the new Holding to your Affiliate Code, provided that this is allowed by his/her computer's browser settings and that it does not replace a pre-existing affiliate cookie linked to another participant in the GoldMoney Affiliate Programme.
7. You acknowledge that when a affiliate cookie linked to another member of the GoldMoney Affiliate Programme is already present in the new customer's computer web browser, you will not be eligible for any Affiliate Commissions generated by the new customer.
8. You understand that if the referred potential new customer has not opened a Holding within the 30 day period after clicking on the Affiliate Code hyperlink, then the affiliate cookie linked to your Affiliate Code will expire and become inactive.
9. You acknowledge that GoldMoney will not recognise you as the affiliate in the event that the new customer requests the deletion or modification of the affiliate cookie by their browser prior to signing up for a Holding, or if the new customer specifies a different Affiliate Code during the sign-up process.
10. You agree that you will take care to ensure that any text or other content that you create in order to refer new customers to GoldMoney, including any content on websites, blogs or emails, accurately reflects the business of GoldMoney. You acknowledge that GoldMoney reserves the right to require that any such content be changed or deleted, and that failure to comply with any such request gives GoldMoney the right at its discretion to terminate your membership in the Affiliate Programme. You agree that you will not infringe any copyrights, trademarks or intellectual property rights when promoting GoldMoney to potential customers, which includes but is not limited to the use of images, video or written materials in your promotional materials and campaigns.
11. GoldMoney recommends you inform potential new customers that you will receive a commission if they open a GoldMoney Holding with your Affiliate Code and buy precious metals.
12. You will not represent yourself as an agent, partner or employee of GoldMoney as no such relationship is either implicitly or explicitly implied by your membership in the GoldMoney Affiliate Programme.
13. You agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which you reside, including any requirements relating to disclosure of commissions, data protection and tax.
14. GoldMoney has the right to deny the use of certain Affiliate Codes, and you agree that you will not use inappropriate or controversial Affiliate Codes.
15. These Terms & Conditions are subject to the GoldMoney Customer Agreement and can be changed at any time with 30 days notice.
